So, Christmas has come and gone, I hope everyone had a good one. I was very fortunate enough to get some nice new office goodies that I’m going to share with you guys. Well share pictures at least.

monitor Acer 22″ Monitor

Damn this was a HUGE setup from my crappy 19″. It’s not only the size but the picture quality is tremendously better. Just after 1 day of use my eyes feel better and it just makes it easier to work and multitask. No longer am I stuck having to alt-tab between windows – it just makes it easier editing html/php files, then refreshing the browsers to see how the change went. Originally I was thinking of going dual screen, but after seeing how nice this one is, it just wouldn’t be fair to put them up side by side.

chair Leather Office Chair

Another kick-ass addition to the office. Before I was using a 5 year old chair, while it was alright, the comfort level just wasn’t there, this one has much better back support and just feels much nicer.

From all of us at chrisdot.com, we would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
Stay Safe!

I for one am a firm believer in keeping business lives and personal lives separate. Unfortunately I found that very hard for the past few weeks. I got sick, really sick. Sick to the point where some days I couldn’t get out of bed.

Now how do you run a business when you’re the boss, employee and everything else? You gotta prioritize and just do what you can do. Now I don’t get sick often and normally if and when I do get sick it isn’t too bad, however this time was different.

With limited time and energy you really need to focus that much harder on what needs to be done. I personally started out by working on stuff I knew that needed to be done, eg – making sure all the bills were paid, while that doesn’t seem too big, it can be if your running multiple hosts and domains. The last thing you need is your campaigns/sites going down due to lack of payment or a late payment. So for me this was one of my biggest priorities.

Next would be watching current campaigns to make sure they the offers were still active on the networks and still turning profit. There would be no point in sending a bunch of traffic to a campaign that was no longer converting.

Unfortunately that was about all I could do for the past few weeks, I did however manage to tweak some campaigns, but not to the amount I would have liked to, however now that I’m getting better again I am glad that I was at least able to monitor a few campaigns and make sure all payments were made to keep the incoming coming in!

Stay healthy!

Sorry guys, with my move and a few other things I haven’t been putting the time and effort into this site like I need to be. The move alone took so much out of me and beleive it or not I am still unpacking. On the upside traffic has been up recently. Thanks for the support! I’ll be pumping some stuff out soon!

It’s coming and it’s coming soon. This is very off topic but I am excited so I must share!

December 1st is my move date. As many of you know I am moving to a new condo – it will be a home and home office. I am very excited about this one as it has 2 pools (an indoor and an outdoor), exercise room, sauna and a hot tub.

I’m hoping that this new place with all the amenities it has will help me relax more and in turn help me work more and harder. Stay tuned for pictures.

My apologies go out to Shoemoney regarding his newsletter and his Facebook code not working. Turns out I made the common mistake and selectively read information on this.

Thanks to Bryn – We found out that our comments were broken. Meaning noone was able to comment. It was due to a plug-in. Sorry for the inconvenience, it looks like it is working now!

Finally after a few tries I’ve gotten some Facebook ads approved!

How you may ask?

I tried several different products/services and just tried simple things like changing the ads and pictures. I’m still shocked at how inconsistant Facebook is. You can submit the exact same ad that’s already there, same picture too and it will get declined.

Is anyone else still playing around with Facebook?

If your like me and several other people, sometimes updating your blog/website doesn’t happen as often as it should. One quick easy way to add a new post/new content is to just add a video and let it do the work for you! Shoemoney has been doing this for a while and I’ve noticed that Jon Fisher has started as well (I think Jon does it more of a joke than anything but none the less..)

I mean check out this video, is this not entertaining?

I don’t know about everyone else but I’ve had a crazy week. To start I finally nailed down my move date and all the details – now when I’m working I’ll have a nice view with a wall full of windows to look out of.

Also within the last week I had my debit card compromised and had several hundred dollars stolen from my account. I found this odd because I rarely use my debit card, normally I just use my Visa. However once I noticed I called the bank, they told me their fraud department was already investigating it and will call me.

It’s been a long stressful week, how has everyone else been?
